Psalm 23.01

God, my shepherd!

I know His voice as

He calls me to serve

He calls me to be comforted!

All needs are satisfied when I trust You

Because of my faith, gifted from You,

I can rest and reflect on Your powerful words and deeds.

True to Your word,

You let me catch my breath

and send me in the right direction.

Never wavering, never changing

Your word is a lamp to show the way and

Light the path that I may not stumble.

I’m not even afraid when the way goes through Death Valley

Because You walk at my side.

You have defeated Death! It has no sting,

Grave’s mouth cannot swallow me.

No power in Hell or on Earth can ever separate me from You!

You honor me right in front of my enemies.

You lift my drooping head;

My spirits soar as on wings of eagles,

my cup brims with blessing, the finest of wine

flows from Your casks, none other is like it!

Your beauty and love chase after me

every day of my life.

Your steadfast love surrounds me, lifts me

I’m back home in the house of God

for the rest of this life and the life

To come in the mansions of heaven.
